- Works under the direction of occupational therapists to plan, implement, and administer programs that restore or enhance functional abilities.
- Assists occupational therapists in executing treatment plans.
- Monitors patients' performance during therapy activities and provides encouragement.
- Instruct patients and families on home programs, daily living skills, and the proper use of adaptive equipment.
- Observes and records patients' progress, attitudes, and behaviors, maintaining accurate client records.
- Reports patient progress, attitudes, and behaviors to supervisors.
- Performs clerical duties as needed to support therapy services.
- Graduate of an accredited Therapy program
- 1 -2 years of related experience
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects, weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance

What You’ll Do in This Role:
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists in providing rehabilitative services to people with mental, physical, emotional, or developmental impairments as part of in-house rehab services in SNF, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living.
