What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform individual, group, and family counseling
- Conduct utilization review and discharge planning
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure patient care
- Provide mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Serve as a liaison in cases of child abuse/neglect, adult/elderly abuse/neglect, and domestic violence
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related area
- Current licensure or license eligibility in the state of Indiana as an HSPP, LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC
- Knowledge of psychosocial assessments, short-term therapeutic counseling, and crisis intervention
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Relevant healthcare, mental health, or community-based experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification
- Knowledge of state and county adult and child protective legal mandates
- Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Strong working relationships with the community, medical teams, and other agencies
- Licensure in your home state and license eligibility in the state of Indiana
