  About the Role:

  As a Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals facing various life challenges, including mental health issues, substance abuse, and personal crises. Your primary objective will be to provide guidance, support, and therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and facilitate coping strategies that empower them to navigate their circumstances effectively. Additionally, you will engage with community resources and support networks to ensure clients have access to comprehensive care. Ultimately, your work will contribute to fostering a healthier community by promoting mental wellness and resilience among individuals in need.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a counselor.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare or social assistance setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.

  Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' emotional and psychological needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' assessments and progress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting sessions and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to provide holistic support.
  • Stay informed about best practices in counseling and mental health to enhance service delivery.
