    • Develop marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content to promote CTE programs and their benefit.
    • Present CTE guidance tailored to Guthrie student needs.

    • Participate in district career fairs, business partnership meetings, and community outreach events.
    • Act as a liaison between CTE students and all campus counselors.
    • Conduct campus tours and provide information to guests during open house events.
    • Coordinate recruiting opportunities for Guthrie programs on the secondary campuses.
    • Provide responsive services to support individual students and small groups.
    • Consult with parents, teachers, administrators and other relevant people to enhance their work with students.
    • Monitor and disseminate information to high school counselors regarding the availability of seats in classes once course selection is complete.
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with campus, district and community members.
    • Use an effective referral process to assist students and others with counseling resources and support services.
    • Collect and review student applications for dual enrollment and dual credit courses.
    • Upload student application documents to Smart Sheets for tracking and processing.

      Primary Purpose: Work with school faculty, staff, students, parents and community to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive guidance and counseling program centered around Career and Technical Education. Counsel students about career options and how to maximize their success by developing their academic, personal and social abilities. Understand dynamics required for working with at-risk and special population students and implement strategies to ensure success.
      Qualifications/Skills: Education/Certification:
      • Master's degree in guidance counseling.
