  • Job Description

      Req#: COUNS003929

      • Ensures that residents are provided with quality care in matters of health, safety, clothing, hygiene, and meals
      • Establishes ADL routines including house jobs, room chores, wake-ups, and lights-out, laundry, cooking, etc.
      • Supervises individual and group activities such as trips, sporting events, crafts, etc. Upholds all elements of behavior management system, including restriction system, negotiations, and a repertoire of confrontation techniques and responses.
      • Attends to the educational/ vocational, health and mental health, etc.
      • Models positive behavior at all times while confronting negative behavior
      • Commits to the mission of the program by supporting the creation of a safe, orderly, and caring environment
      • Complete field work as needed
      • Any other assigned tasks

      Qualifications - External

      • High School diploma is required. • Three years’ experience working with adolescents. SCO Family of Services is an Equal Opportunities Employment Employer
