What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct initial clinical assessments and ongoing risk assessments using C-SSRS
- Build positive relationships with command POCs and provide routine updates on Sailor's progress
- Ensure Sailors receive necessary behavioral health resources and support throughout SAIL engagement
- Report suspected abuse cases to local authorities and Family Advocacy Representative
- Maintain current records in the FFSMIS SAIL Record System for all SAIL contacts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be located within 100 miles of a Navy installation
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical/counseling psychology
- Current, valid, and unrestricted clinical license or certification
- Minimum of two years of post-master's supervised clinical experience
- Meet or exceed Tier II clinical practitioner requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing short-term counseling for military life stresses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software
- Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of available military and community referral resources
