We are currently accepting applications for Counter Sales Associate to continue this tradition and develop new business while focusing on cultivating existing business.

Job Description

• The Counter Sales Associate must have prior automotive experience. He/She will be working directly with the Store Manager to service our existing customers and attract new customers
• The Counter Sales Associate will report directly to the Store Manager to establish goals and store performance.

Qualifications

• Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to service existing or potential customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels at all times
• Help to keep a clean and safe work environment for all fellow employees and customers
• Establish Add on business with existing customers.
• Build a long term relationship with customer base.
• Provide accurate price quotes in a timely manner to our customers
• Understanding customer needs and offering solutions
• Focus sales efforts based on company strategies, market intelligence and customer sales volume.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, customer service, personnel, etc.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by testing product (own & competitive), reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
• Work retail store counter to develop the team, meet potential customers and assist with inside sales.
• Assist in meeting and exceeding company quotas and goals
• Work closely with Store Manager to complete daily tasks and duties
• Accurately bill/receive inventory
• Opening and closing duties
• Develop a team atmosphere and adhere to any and all company policies
• Any and all other duties assigned by management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical Ability to stand for prolonged period of time and/or move about our stores.
• Ability to read, write and communicate with our customers, vendors and fellow employees.
• Ability to lift, move and carry objects that weigh in excess of sixty pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent
• Posses a clean and valid driving record.
• A minimum of three years experience in Automotive.
• State/local requirement

Additional Information

Compensation is $9.25 - $11.00 (Dependent on Experience)
