SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the Self Check Out Attendant includes supervising the self-checkouts, assisting customer in processing orders, including cashiering and loss prevention.The Self Check Out Attendant also responds to complaints with genuine concern.

• Ensures proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons.
• Performs fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
• Directs customer traffic.
• Assists with any pricing issue.
• Assists with register maintenance, cleaning and replenishing supplies
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures.
• Follows safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
