      Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with 8+ years of proven experience leading and managing multiple continuous improvement programs; 2 to 4 years of leading change management efforts.

      Job Purpose:

      Our Continuous Process Improvement Six Sigma Black Belt works under the direction of the Continuous Process Improvement Director in collaboration with cross-functional teams and organizational leadership to define, analyze and implement process improvements in pursuit of operational excellence and the achievement of Veritiv's strategic objectives. This role is responsible for leading efforts to reduce variation in processes and enhance results while using Six Sigma tools and techniques to increase the company’s competitive advantage and financial performance.

      Job Responsibilities:

      ● Lead and manage multiple highly complex Lean Six Sigma projects that require Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DMADV, etc.) and analytical approaches to improve operational efficiency and capabilities.
      ● Responsible for facilitating the improvement of operational processes within Veritiv’s strategic continuous process improvement projects.
      ● Lead and support the delivery of new processes and solutions that are customer centric and lean in design.
      ● Utilize SPC tools to develop and monitor process behavior charts to assist with identifying areas of opportunities.
      ● Plan and facilitate Kaizen events to drive continuous improvements for Sales & Marketing functional processes.
      ● Partner with Veritiv business functions to document savings and/or benefits related to process improvement activity, and follow-up to ensure post-improvement sustainability.
      ● Achieves buy-in from all decision makers for the successful application of performance improvement.
      ● Implement change management best practices by measuring and evaluating changes to business processes and the customer, and creating strategies to support and drive adoption of changes related to process improvement efforts.

      Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

      • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with 8+ years of proven experience leading and managing multiple or large continuous process improvement programs
      • 2 to 4 years of leading change management efforts
      • 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.
      • Hands-on experience using wide range of Lean/Six Sigma management tools in a non-manufacturing setting
      • Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.
      • Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
      • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SPC tools

      Work Experience:

      ● 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.

      ● 5-10 years of related job experience.

      ● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

      ● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.

      ● Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.

      ● Experienced in strategic management and leadership across company functions directing substantial resources over long time frames.

      ● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.

      ● Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.

      ● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

      Education:

      ● Bachelor's Degree Preferred

      Six Sigma Black Belt - 6sigma/IASSC
