What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately post insurance and patient payments, managing refunds and credit balances
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment posting and reconciliation processes
- Review electronic remittances and evaluate adjustments, posting payments to patient claims
- Communicate with payors for additional information regarding payment posting issues
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective payment processing and customer satisfaction

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a High School diploma with three years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in posting insurance and patient payments, including cash applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to maintain productive team-oriented relationships
- Availability outside of normal business hours for occasional support needs

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with line level payment posting for physician services
- Familiarity with HCFA 1500 and UB04 forms
- Understanding of insurance plans and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Experience in reconciling cash and payments to physician claims
- Knowledge of electronic payment processes including EFT and ACH
