  Position Summary

  As a Legal Counsel for CPW, you will support the Operations team, (including Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing) to implement the CPW legal and business strategy across the globe. You’ll take the lead on global Corporate Governance and Sustainability & Food Law topics, acting as a trusted business partner for HQ teams and connecting with the Markets. You’ll drive selected entities reorganizations, applying strategic insight, legal expertise, and adaptability to a fast-evolving environment.

  A Day in the Life of a Legal Counsel for CPW

  • Legal Partner to CPW Operations: Provide legal counsel to the CPW Operations teams to implement the CPW legal and business strategy across the globe and support the management of contracts with diverse suppliers, ensuring an appropriate balance between legal protection and business agility.
  • Lead Corporate Governance: Take charge of global corporate governance matters, managing day-to-day legal affairs and supporting strategic entity reorganizations.
  • Champion Sustainability: Support the CPW Sustainability team and collaborate with Nestlé HQ’s Sustainability Law team to help shape CPW initiatives with tangible real-world impact.
  • Support Food Law & RSA: Support CPW Marketing and RSA teams in navigating regulatory landscapes, in partnership with Nestlé HQ’s Food Law experts to ensure compliance and innovation.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Tackle legal and commercial issues head-on, offering solutions that protect and empower the business.

  What will make you successful

  • Proven track record within in-house legal roles including exposure to operations, corporate governance, EU antitrust.
  • Experience or a strong interest in developing expertise in Sustainability and Food Law matters.
  • Strategic thinker with the agility to solve complex, ambiguous issues across jurisdictions.
  • Comfortable in a joint-venture environment, managing a wide range of legal topics.
  • Business-oriented, detail-driven, and resourceful with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, clear communicator, and able to work independently with confidence.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
