What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently cultivate new mortgage business
- Market and promote the bank's mortgage products
- Interview applicants, assess creditworthiness, and determine loan eligibility
- Advise potential borrowers on the most appropriate mortgage loan programs
- Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with mortgagors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates degree and 2 years of sales experience, OR a combined minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience, including a minimum of 2 years of sales experience
- Willingness to travel extensively with limited supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain federal registration requirements outlined in the SAFE Act
