- Coordinates all aspects of RET communication, internal and external.
- Works with team members and stakeholders to create flyers and advertise training programs.
- Maintains and provides support to the training web pages.
- Develops presence via social media and other outlets (i.e. newsletters).
- Responsible for collection, organization, analysis, and documentation of data with appropriate supervision.
- Types, formats, proofs, copies, and distributes written materials as needed, such as reports, minutes and program materials. Ensures secure and effectively organized and stored records and reports.
- Coordinates communication for on-boarding with respective departments at the cancer center in support of currently existing areas of responsibility within RET.
- Manages all data coordination, tracking activities in support of all programs including reporting, metrics, etc.
- Organizes all committee meetings, including scheduling, creation and distribution of agendas, minutes, and distribution.
- Maintain up-to-date trainee tracking information.
- Supports database enhancement and report output development to facilitate training grant submissions and other reporting needs.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business management, education or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of office administrative experience, preferred in an academic setting.
- Familiarity with student academic affairs is preferred.
- Experience in the use of office equipment.
- Experience working with computers and MS Office software environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Position Summary:
The Cancer Research Career Development and Education (CRCDE) Program Coordinator coordinates all communication aspects of the Research Education and Training (RET) Office programs and provides other support to the program as assigned. This individual facilitates tracking of current and former trainees; coordinates with relevant stakeholders to enable a robust tracking database and the resulting report output; monitors the overall educational reputation of the Cancer Center; provides consistent policy/program interpretation and current practice recommendations to the program leaders and other management team members within the guidelines of Moffitt policies and procedures.
