We want to be a beauty big sister, who knows what's right (clean, non-toxic, vegan, cruelty-free) but also knows how to have a good time (clean beauty doesn't have to be so serious!).What You'll Be DoingAs the Creative Director at Tower 28, you will own and shape the creative vision of the brand, leading all aspects of design, storytelling, and content execution across every marketing channel. You will be responsible for driving brand consistency, creative excellence, and innovation while ensuring all creative work supports business goals and resonates with our audience.You will oversee everything from ads and emails to photoshoots, packaging, and partnership assets, collaborating closely with the CEO and Brand Marketing team to ensure that creative materials align with the company's strategic direction. As a key thought partner to the founder, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our team, brand, and culture.This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Los Angeles, with three days per week in our West LA office, reporting directly to the CEO.Key Responsibilities Set and drive the creative vision for Tower 28, ensuring all creative output is innovative, on-brand, and strategically effectiveLead creative development of all brand advertising & communications, from concept to delivery, across our many marketing channelsLead and mentor a high-performing creative team of designers, copywriters, and content creators, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and speedOwn, develop, and evolve the brand's visual identity, voice, and storytelling across digital, social, retail, packaging, and paid mediaAct as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Brand Marketing team, ensuring creative execution aligns with business objectives and long-term brand strategyDevelop breakthrough, brand-defining campaigns that capture consumer attention, build affinity, and drive engagementEnsure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, from product packaging to influencer campaigns to socialOversee creative production schedules, budgets, and resourcing, optimizing for quality and efficiencyQuickly develop concept mockups to visualize new ideas and creative directionsLead creative presentations and effectively communicate concepts to senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partnersRefine and revise creative work based on feedback from leadership and marketing, balancing creative vision with business needsStay ahead of industry trends and cultural shifts, ensuring Tower 28 remains a leader in beauty and digital storytellingRequirements 10+ years of creative experience in beauty, fashion, or consumer industries, with a mix of in-house and agency experience preferredExpertise in design, branding, copywriting, and digital content creation, with a strong aesthetic POVA portfolio that demonstrates excellence in brand storytelling, campaign execution, and multi-channel creative strategyComfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to pivotProven leadership experience in managing and mentoring lean, nimble creative teams, with a hands-on approach in a dynamic environmentAbility to balance creativity with strategic business goals, ensuring design decisions drive impactHigh level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and familiarity with video editing/motion graphicsStrong communication skills, with the ability to sell creative concepts to executive stakeholdersA test-and-learn mindset, using performance insights to optimize creative approachesWe Offer Holidays, vacation, and sick timeSummer Fridays and quiet week between Christmas and New Years#J-18808-Ljbffr
