      Job Description

      The SA Creative Agency is a full-service in-house agency. We are looking for a Creative Director with a strong vision, and the leadership skills to inspire our team. If you have powerful creative work, a sharp understanding of how to crack a brief against a business goal, and experience leading collaborative, ambitious, nimble, creatives, we would love to hear from you.

      This role leads campaign, design, brand and UX disciplines, and is responsible for a wide range of initiatives spanning brand campaigns, paid and organic social, experiential, fundraising and development, and school design to name a few. We are a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, so strong prioritization and efficiency skills are important. You should have experience building creative across channels for offline and digital marketing campaigns for web, email, display, social, landing pages, TV, out-of-home and more.

      You will have to be seen as a trusted leader among cross-functional leadership groups. You should be comfortable weighing options based on business impact, and able to focus on business objectives and creative integrity alike as you give and get feedback and direction. You should have experience influencing briefs, timelines and partnering with clients and senior leadership. You should be confident in navigating complex challenges to a beautiful creative result. This role reports to the Head of Brand and Creative Content.

      Responsibilities:

      • Support and champion day-to-day brand vision for SA and its sub-brands

      • Manage and mentor creatives with empathy, while creating a sense of belonging in a collaborative, and productive team culture

      • Work in lockstep with partners to prioritize creative projects

      • Provide clear feedback and direction to continuously beat our best work and results

      • Advocate for great creative work and team needs with senior leadership

      • Guide a wide range of creative campaigns, digital and video projects in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, environment.

      • Multi-task across simultaneous projects and deadlines, everything from multidisciplinary campaigns to brand identity, to design, to websites and landing pages.

      • Partner with agency leadership to keep the agency inspired and our people growing

      • Build and manage a network of freelancers and vendors for capacity management, production, and specialty skills

      Qualifications

      • 7+ years of experience—open to design or copy background but must have strong sensibility for both (i.e. a portfolio that showcases high quality design and storytelling regardless of background)

      • 3+ years management experience; ideally diverse creative teams of 4+ people

      • Relevant experience in web, email, paid digital ads, organic social, landing pages and traditional

      • Experience with in-house creative work a plus; ideally with a mix of agency and in-house experience

      Compensation Range

      Annual Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00
