The TwinSpires Brand team is searching for a Creative Video Producer to capture the moments that make The Sport of Kings so iconic. We’re on the hunt for a talented and passionate new member to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with an eye for capturing the heart and soul of the equine world. In this role you will craft compelling narratives and go beyond the race itself, telling the stories of trainers, jockeys, breeders, owners, and the pedigree of the equine athletes themselves. Job Location: In Office (Louisville or Lexington, KY)

Essential Functions:

• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Master post-production magic: edit footage seamlessly, adding music, graphics, and interviews to weave an effective narrative.
• Ability to work seamlessly remotely or on-site and pro-actively reaching out to tech support, product support or IT for help when needed.
• Must be able to spend time on site/in office during core hours.
• Must be available and willing to work flexible schedules, when needed.
• Ability to travel and assist with live event coverage.
• Access to fast, reliable internet while working remotely. Communication while remote is paramount.
• Proficient PC skills.
• Weekends Required (Wednesday-Sunday standard work schedule).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• The ability to edit video and audio content in a time effective manner.
• In-depth background in non-linear editing in an area including Adobe (Premiere, AE, Audition, etc.), Edius, etc.
• Strong understanding of linear, non-linear, social media production workflows.
• Knowledge of PC or Mac operating system.
• Skilled in media transfer workflows (ingest/publish/export).
  
  

Education and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience editing and content capturing using DSLR camera or equivalent.
