- Collaborate effectively with internal and external team members
• Lead the onboarding process for new practitioners, including licensing, credentialing, and payor enrollment
• Communicate with management, HR, recruiting, and executive leadership to facilitate escalations and move onboarding forward
• Prepare and send forms and correspondence to practitioners
• Collect and verify all necessary signatures and documentation. Maintain onboarding packet in DocuSign and resolve Docusign issues
• Enter practitioner demographics and enrollment data in alignment with NCQA standards and company policy
• Maintain document integrity within credentialing software and shared drives
• Track and document all lifecycle events for each provider
• Generate ad-hoc reports and contribute to special projects as needed
• Manage updates to the Master Clinician Roster and send weekly reports to leadership
• Load L&C work requests into systems and assign workflows accordingly
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security at all times
• Engage in self-guided learning using available departmental resources
• Provide cross-coverage support for payor enrollment and credentialing as needed - Thoughtfulness: Ensure a positive first experience for onboarding practitioners, contributing to a welcoming and thorough onboarding program
- Detail-Oriented: Capture accurate information during onboarding to set the team up for success
- Resourcefulness: Effectively navigate systems and resolve onboarding issues independently
- Engagement: Communicate proactively and contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Experience 3+ years in medical staff services or a related field with a focus on licensing, payor enrollment, or credentialing support
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPCS or CPMSM certification is a plus
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in credentialing software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Familiar with Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign
- Able to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Organizational Skills: Skilled in managing multiple application processes simultaneously, ensuring that all submissions are well-documented and on track for completion.

- Strong research and critical thinking abilities
- Comfortable making independent decisions and escalating when appropriate

Monogram Health is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credentialing Specialist to support onboarding functions within our Licensing and Credentialing (L&C) Department. This remote role is responsible for managing the internal onboarding process for new practitioners, ensuring a timely and seamless transition through licensing, primary source verification, and payor enrollment—enabling clinicians to engage with patients as quickly as possible.
We are looking for a self-directed professional with expertise in practitioner demographic intake, process automation, and efficiency. The Credentialing Specialist will serve as the primary guide for new practitioners throughout the onboarding journey, from completing credentialing packets to setting up accounts for Medicare and CAQH, while ensuring that all demographic and licensure information is accurate and complete.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail to identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies and timing issues that may impact the organization’s ability to license, credential, enroll, or privilege providers. The Credentialing Specialist is also responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records in credentialing software and shared drives, which may be subject to internal, health plan, and NCQA audits.
Additional responsibilities include managing practitioner data updates on the Master Clinician Roster via Smartsheet, distributing weekly onboarding reports to regional leadership, and initiating new work requests within credentialing systems by setting up workflows and tracking progress for the team.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in large clinical organizations, medical staff offices, third-party payor enrollment, or credential verification organizations, with backgrounds in roles such as Intake Specialist, Provider Enrollment Specialist, or Medical Staff Office professional.Key Traits for Success
