      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Professionally manage contacts via telephone and electronic means from animal owners and referrals to maintain pet and people connections
      - Assist in daily operations by providing information and services related to ASPCA programs
      - Assess and triage illnesses and injuries using veterinarian-approved protocols and refer to appropriate resources
      - Record complete case histories and document findings in electronic medical record databases
      - Conduct follow-up calls to pet owners and veterinary clinics as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from an accredited school of veterinary technology (2 or 4-year program) required
      - Veterinary Technician credentials required in the state of residence (e.g., CVT, RVT, LVT)
      - Strong understanding of medical terminology, animal anatomy, and medical triage
      - Ability to manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
      - Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
      - Veterinary triage and emergency veterinary practice experience highly preferred
      - Experience in social service, veterinary practice, or animal shelter preferred
      - Customer service/client-facing experience preferred
