- Maintain excellent relationships with healthcare facilities nationwide to understand their unique credentialing processes.
- Ensure that all the details involved in completing provider credentialing files are accomplished according to company guidelines, and in an efficient, proactive manner.
- Provide top-notch customer service via telephone, email, fax, and written correspondence.
- Provide backup to all members of the team as necessary.
- Manage your work to tight deadlines while maintaining both speed and accuracy.
- Provide consistent and thorough updates on credentialing process to provider, medical staff offices and internal sales teams.
- Prioritize work using the VISTA application while maintaining complete and accurate records of all activities.
- Assist in reception/incoming customer phone call responsibilities; including directing calls to appropriate VISTA staff
- Performs additional duties as requested by management
- A minimum of a high school diploma required.
- Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service preferred.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Positive, approachable, and professional representative of VISTA Staffing Solutions.
- Ability to take direction and perform tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Detail oriented, accurate, and excellent research skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone, email, video conference and face to face contact
- Ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office related equipment such as but not limited to a computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard and mouse
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
SUMMARY
The Credentialing Coordinator gathers and completes provider credentialing files as well as works directly with providers and healthcare facilities nationwide to obtain hospital privileges.

$16.63 - $20.38Compensation Range
