- $26.68 - $36.02/hour
- This is a non-exempt position

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical staff support services or medical secretarial roles. Two years of relevant credentialing experience preferred.
- Two years of relevant credentialing experience, preferred
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of the credentialing process.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, letters, memos and emails.
- Excellent attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to research and analyze data.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization.
- Familiarity with medical staff bylaws, regulations, credentialing processes, and insurance credentialing.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access) and internet resources.

Serving as the trusted medical home for our patients, TCCH offers a wide range of services - from dental care, optometry, and pharmacy needs to behavioral health and endocrinology. OPPORTUNITY
TCCH is recruiting a Credentialing Coordinator to join our team within the Pasco administrative building. We are seeking passionate, driven individuals who align with our values of Quality, Respect, and Service, and are eager to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our patients through delivery of exceptional care. The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging processes for all providers who provide patient care at Tri-Cities Community Health. Responsible for ensuring providers are credentialed, appointed, and privileged with the organization, health plans, and hospitals (if applicable) Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems; ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications. Initiates and maintains facility or location credentialing for all in-scope facilities.
FUNCTIONS
1. Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all providers.
2. Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications, including primary sourcing functions; monitors applications and follows-up as needed.
3. Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all providers.
4. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of provider credentials and privileges.
5. Maintains knowledge of current health plan and agency requirements for credentialing providers.
6. Sets up and maintains provider information in online credentialing databases and system.
7. Tracks license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals.
8. Ensures practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies and other entities. Ensure process aligns with medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements.
9. Processes applications for appointment and reappointment of privileges to Tri-Cities Community Health.
10. Tracks license, DEA and professional liability expirations for appointed ASC providers.
11. Maintains ASC appointment files, and information in credentialing database.
12. Audits health plan directories for current and accurate provider information.
13. Completes initial facility applications to credential locations with all payers including Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payers.
14. Maintains facility credentials and processes updates or changes as needed
15. Stays informed about updates and changes in relevant regulations to ensure compliance.
16. Serves as the primary point of contact between the medical staff and administration.
17. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate medical staff committee meetings.
b. Ensure timely distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and relevant documentation.
c. Actively participates in meetings, recording discussions, decisions, and action items.
d. Provide executive secretarial support to the elected chair and other medical staff officers.
e. Manage administrative tasks, correspondence, and communications on behalf of the medical staff leadership.
f. Performs other duties as assigned.
