What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and monitor the credentialing and re-credentialing process
- Conduct background investigations and primary source verifications
- Prepare credential files for presentation to credentialing committees
- Respond to inquiries from healthcare organizations on credentialing issues
- Assist with managed care delegated credentialing audits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience in credentialing
- High school diploma or GED
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AS Degree in healthcare
- 4 years directly related to hospital medical staff or managed care credentialing and/or provider enrollment
