- Spreading financial statements utilizing internal financial analysis software.
- Data integrity projects
- Conducting industry research and background checks on borrowers.
- Assist on special projects for the credit department.
- Junior year or higher undergraduate or graduate student with a degree concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Requires a working understanding of accounting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.

Objective and Responsibilities:
The Commercial Credit Department of Eastern Bank is seeking a promising undergraduate or graduate student interested in Commercial Banking. The intern will report to the Commercial Credit Manager and will have the opportunity to learn about commercial lending and underwriting. The intern will be involved in financial statement spreading and participate in department meetings and special projects within the credit department. The position will be 10-12 weeks, four days a week, with the mutual option to work part-time thereafter during the school year.
