The Vendor Manager is responsible for overseeing the selection, negotiation, management, and performance of external vendors and service providers for the credit card team. This role ensures that vendor relationships align with the organization's strategic goals, and that the services/products provided meet Citizens quality standards, timeline, and budgetary requirements. The Vendor Manager works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient collaboration and cost-effective vendor solutions.       Primary responsibilities include

      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers.
      • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.
      • Collaborate with internal teams to define vendor requirements and expectations
      • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of vendor deliverables, addressing issues as they arise.
      • Support vendor selection process, including issuing RFPs, conducting evaluations, and negotiating contracts.
      • Manage vendor contracts, renewals, and any necessary amendments.
      • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced service delivery.
      • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related inquiries or issues.
      • Mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships, ensuring business continuity.
      • Prepare and present reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to senior management.

      Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
      • 3+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or contract management.
      • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
      • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.

      Hours & Work Schedule

      • Hours per Week: 40
      • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
