Job Description
- Req#: 45360
- Financial knowledge (e.g. reconciliations, debits and credits, adjustment journals, etc.)
- Knowledge of the account submission process, follow-up process, managing overpayments, and management of bad debts
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Relevant aspects of legislation for the debt collection environment (e.g. National Credit Act; Consumer Protection Act; etc.)

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To minimise the financial risk of the organisation by proactively managing risk and ensuring maximum collection ofoutstanding debt.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Proactively manage and address financial risks.
Collect outstanding debt within the set benchmark.
Ensure client satisfaction with all stakeholders.
Ensure effective utilisation of available resources to achieve optimal efficiencies.REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Grade 12 with Subjects Accounting / Economics/ Maths or Grade 12 with relevant working experience
DESIRED EDUCATION
Certificate in Accounting/ Finance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
2 years working experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Experience as a Credit Controller or within a similar environment
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
