      $23.00 to $27.00 per hour DOE

      GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Maintaining a portion of the company accounts receivable. Responsible for accounts and contacting customers who are not in compliance with acceptable credit status conditions or those whose risk factor is too high or in question. Evaluate accounts to ensure accounts are set to proper credit status.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for protecting and maintaining a portion of the company’s accounts receivable. The person exercises a high degree of professionalism. Reviews the status of past due and over limit accounts and takes appropriate action. Reviews account status to ensure extension of credit being asked is appropriate. Ensures that customers and their respective sales representative are properly notified of charge hold restrictions. Keep complete and accurate records of all contact with the customer. Interfaces directly with customer through telephone, written and personal visits to maintain existing relationships and to help develop new business. Works directly with and through the OSR and store management in their assigned area to develop teamwork which manifests itself in quantifiable results (increases in sales while maintaining credit performance in line with credit goals). Using effective negotiating skills to persuade the customer to pay in a timely manner. Completes requested reports accurately and in a timely manner.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no employees who report directly to this job.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

      MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

      REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

      CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None.

      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Must have at least an intermediate level of MS Office software: Excel, Word, Access. Must have good written and oral communication skills. Multi-tasking and able to handle pressure a must. Good presentation and negotiating skills. Good driving record. Must be able to travel.
