      Job Description

      Manage crew member schedules to ensure that during each bid period flights are staffed appropriately while maintaining compliance with FARs and Contractual limitation. This is a forward looking position that manages crewmember schedules for the bid period as a whole.

      Essential Functions:

      • Adjust crew member schedules for each bid period as needed while maintaining compliance with FARs and Contractual limitations. This includes incidents of TDY, displacements, awards, new hires, prequalified crew members and other adjustments.
      • Monitor flight progression for pilots and flight attendants to ensure compliance with FARs
      • Monitor pilots flight time to ensure consolidation is completed.
      • Act as point of contact for crew member's needs and questions regarding schedule for the bid period.
      • Ensure compliance with all FAA Flight/Duty regulations by forward looking analysis.
      • Ensure crewmember placement for all flights while maintaining internal customer approach toward crewmembers for bid period as a whole.
      • Monitor and report crew member eligibility to fly
      • All other duties assigned by supervisor and/or manager

      Requirements

      • H.S. Diploma or GED
      • Experience w/SABRE/Apollo/SHARES/Bornemann
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
      • Able to handle demands of the job while maintaining work/life balance
      • Must have strong knowledge of FAR's
      • Must have knowledge of Company policy and procedures
      • Strong computer skills w/ Microsoft Office Software
      • Action oriented, self motivated with the ability to work independently and remain focused on critical issues
      • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
      • Ability to make quick decisions while working in a high pressure, ambiguous environment while handling multiple tasks
      • Ability to work well under pressure
      • Ability to manage time
      • Willing to work various hours, holidays, nights and weekend
