- 0-5 years within the offshore crewing industry
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with marine vessels and the offshore oil and gas sector Familiarity with STCW, IMCA, IMO, Flag State and other
- offshore marine and construction crew training requirements.

- Development of the crew recruitment plan from the Project Execution Plan
- Development of the crew rostering system
- Implement training and familiarization plans for pre project barge awareness training.
- Plan and implement the logistics of crew mobilizing to/from site.
- Plan and implement the logistics of emergency evacuation travel.
- Coordinate the accommodation for mobilizing / demobilizing crew.
- Implement system for travel bookings and account reconciliations.
- Review Job Descriptions
- Coordinate with HR Manager to implement contracts and letters of offer to be used during the project for all offshore crew.
- Coordinate with HR Manager to implement pay scales for Supervisory crew.
- Project specific training of HR Assistants to utilize their role effectively.
- Coordinate the crew recruitment process through the HR Assistants, including interviews, medicals, PPE, Off-shore Survival Training, and reference checking, applying McDermott HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with HSE to develop and organize project inductions and training.
- Coordinate with Sub-contractors to organize sub-contract personnel flights and rosters.
- Site visits for Admin / IR / HR issues
- Resolve low level IR issues as they arise to prevent them from escalating.
- Identify and set-up of registers required throughout project for tracking of costs.
- Conduct HR staff meetings.
