      Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services for American Airlines as American Eagle throughout the Midwest and East Coast, operating CRJ-200 regional jets.       With general direction from the Dispatch Shift Supervisor by following routine procedures, ensuring that all company flights are crewed in accordance with all FAA regulations, company policies and procedures, and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have a crew scheduling and leadership background.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

      • Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.

      • Provide work direction and priority for all Crew Scheduling desks, during normal and irregular operations, to ensure FAR and collective bargaining agreement compliance.

      • Brief the next shift Coordinator of all crew related problems/issues that may affect the operation.

      • Brief the SOC Duty Manager on all crew related problems/issues that may affect the operation throughout the shift.

      • Ensure high-levels of customer service are maintained by the Crew Desk.

      • Work with Crew Services Manager and Director of Crew Resources to implement policy changes and ensure compliance at the Crew Desk.

      • Ensure that all schedule adjustment requests are completed within contractual time periods.

      • Coordinate with SOC Duty Manager on positioning flights, cancellations, and reroute needs.

      • Maintain awareness of the current day and future operations, including forecasting to locate and mitigate potential crew delays and/or cancellations.

      • Monitor and oversee irregular operation hotel needs and coordinate room blocks as appropriate.

      • Complete to resolution challenging situations brought about during daily operations that a crew scheduler may not be able to resolve.

      • Oversee APIS messaging and ensure compliance on all crew transmissions.

      • Coordinate conference calls as needed with Flight and Inflight Management regarding crew situations requiring support.

      • Maintain various files and manuals.

      • Monitor crew desk attendance.

      • Assist in initial and recurrent training for Crew Schedulers and work with Crew Services Manager to manage and develop training plans based on individual needs.

      • Coordinate the need for additional staffing to support irregular operations.

      • Attend and participate in daily operational briefings.

      • Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.

      • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

      • Additional tasks as assigned.

      EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

      • Associate degree.

      • Prior airline crew scheduling and reservations systems knowledge.

      • Advanced knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and Air Wisconsin Pilot and Flight Attendant Collective Bargaining Agreements.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

      • 1-year prior inflight crew scheduling and/or supervisory experience.
