- Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on criminal charges and potential defenses.
- Negotiate settlements and plea deals with opposing counsel and prosecutors.
- Advocate on behalf of clients during court appearances and hearings.
- Develop case strategies and ensure the effective presentation of evidence.
- Stay informed about changes in criminal law and legal precedents.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Recent law school graduates and new Bar passers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong commitment to criminal defense and advocacy.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in criminal and dependency law.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
