  W e are looking for: Critical Care Credentialed Veterinary Technician u00A0
  u00A0 u00A0
  Never a dull moment in Critical Care ! Our patients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are being executed . You should enjoy phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, assisting with recovery and client follow up and education. u00A0
  u00A0 u00A0
  What youu2019ll do : u00A0
  • Record and deliver organized rounds , discuss case s and gather additional information as necessary u00A0
  • Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment u00A0
  • Partner with patient care team regarding treatment plans, client communication and nursing care concerns u00A0
  • Provide client education including, but not limited to: home care instructions, medications (indications, adverse reactions) and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients u00A0
  • Assist DVM with patient assessment, treatment and procedures u00A0
  • Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients u00A0
  • Induce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation procedures u00A0
  • Perform in - house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testing u00A0

  Who you are : u00A0
  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license required u00A0
  • Prior veterinary experience required , previous Critical Care, Nursing or Emergency experience desired u00A0
  • Proficient in calculations ( drugs , constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) u00A0
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary u00A0
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment u00A0
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills u00A0
