      Flexible work arrangements, including virtual/hybrid work locations, are an integral part of the School of Medicine's Working Forward initiative. As such, this position's work location is designated as hybrid. Please note that the designated work location is subject to change based on the unit's business needs. The Cross-Phase Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of educational, strategic, and experiential initiatives in alignment with the mission, values, and accreditation goals of the Offices of Medical Student Education (OMSE). This position reports to the Senior Director of Curricular Affairs and coordinates courses and events that span all four years of the medical school curriculum (Foundation, Application, and Individualization Phases) including but not limited to Electives and the Scholarly Concentration program. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with all OMSE teams. The Cross- Phase Coordinator will support faculty and OMSE leadership to develop and manage high-quality, longitudinal educational experiences. The cross-phase coordinator will be responsible to managing student data, interpreting and applying UNC and SOM policy to ensure that courses are in alignment, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with course directors, students, and other OMSE staff, and collaborating with OMSE leadership to research, plan, develop, and implement cross-phase experiences based on student and SOM needs.
