What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Brainstorm and identify additional sources for the real-time information (RTI) system.
- Optimize alerts based on precision/recall scores to improve accuracy.
- Maintain a detailed calendar of material market events.
- Analyze market-moving events and update alerts as conditions change.
- Collaborate with technical teams on product development and conduct QA/UAT testing.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Prior experience in trading firms, hedge funds, market intelligence, or financial news organizations.
- Deep understanding of real-time information flows and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with tracking high-impact sources and topics.
- Knowledge of precision/recall scoring methods for alert optimization.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for data analysis and automation.
- Strong network within the cryptocurrency ecosystem and familiarity with key influencers and information channels.
