The Gas Compressor Performance/Application Engineer is responsible for directing the company’s internal activities associated with supporting the sales of gas compressor restages and package refurbishment for Oil and Gas market. This position involves working with Sales, Gas Compressor overhaul facilities, Gas Compressor Engineering, Package Engineering, and Project Management team to plan, develop, and execute technical and commercial strategies to successfully support the gas compressor aftermarket business. Specific responsibilities include the review of customer specifications, gathering data from the field, selection and optimization of Solar’s gas compressor offering, creating BOM, pricing custom features, and writing proposals as well as participating the customer meetings. The final step of the process is turning the job over to Project Management with good technical and commercial definition so that it can be executed efficiently.Minimum Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary for this role ranges from $ 98,726.00 , to $148,088.00 . Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
