      Customer Shift Left Program - CSLP drives to improve platform validation coverage & quality by bringing in customer designs in-house for early platform development and co-validation for launch. CSLP team is looking for a new technical lead who will take ownership for driving CSLP projects and work directly with internal stake holders at Intel from engineering to validation and external customers from architect, design, validation both OEM and ODMs for high quality product launch. You will be actively engaged in overall platform execution for first to launch Intel designs.

      As a program manager you will be expected to lead across all aspects of the platform development process which is end-to-end procedures creating and delivering a technology platform, which could include hardware, software, or a combination of both. You will own and define the "Shift Left" strategy and engage with customers early in the development process, potentially bringing their designs in-house for collaborative development and validation. This early engagement can lead to better alignment with customer expectations, quicker issue resolution, and overall improved product quality. You would play a crucial role in driving these initiatives and coordinating efforts across various teams and stakeholders.

      You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

      • Leverages engineering technical background and strong knowledge of engineering domains, project/program management techniques and data driven analytical methodologies to collaborate with project/program teams.

      • Works directly with project/program managers to help implement project/program objectives, support variable technical and process aspects of projects, and provide direct assistance to ensure timely execution.

      • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analytical research to support project/program objectives, including but not limited to assessing resource utilization, maintaining project management systems, tracking project progress and efficiency, identifying performance gaps, assessing project/program risks and ensuring compliance with processes and guidelines.

      • Reports data led insights to key stakeholders, facilitating optimal decision making.

      • Engages directly with key BU/domain stakeholders on matters of significance to meeting program/project objectives.

      • Assists engineering project/program managers to develop and maintain project/program management infrastructure in areas such as issue tracking, reporting, dashboard monitoring, deck building/storyboarding, project plan builds, monitoring and analysis, etc.

      • Provides project/program plan trend analysis and control including analysis, research, development, and maintenance of the project/program data.

      • Maintains awareness of emerging engineering trends and project management techniques.

      • Provides recommendations for improvement of project management processes currently in use.

      Qualifications:

      Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar technical STEM degree with 6+ years of industry experience.

      • 5+ years of experience with the following:

      • Power management and/or performance frameworks, including debug analysis and drive issues to resolution.

      • Power and Performance (PnP), validation and debug.

      • Post silicon validation.

      • OS experience either on Windows, Linux, MacOS and/or Chrome.


      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Master's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar technical STEM degree and 5+ years of experience on system debug.

      • 3+ years of experience with any of the following:

      • Hands-on skills in one of the following domains: validation, integration, debugging, or PnP optimization.

      • Knowledge of systems engineering and computer architecture.

      • Knowledge on system or platform level debug, including PythonSV, ITP, debug tools.

      Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

      US, California:$123,139.00-$203,801.00

      S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

      Work Model for this Role

      This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
