- Ensuring administration is carried out in line with Trust policy and standard operating procedures
- Working collectively within a team but also demonstrating skills of assertiveness, a self-starter, who is able to work under pressure, prioritising demands directorate-wide.
- Supporting with general admin duties as required demonstrating initiative to prioritise competing demands within set timescales.
- Diary management which can be complex and challenging.
- Minute taking, preparing Agendas and documents as needed.
- Computer literate - Ability to use MS Teams suite of software applications.
- To provide and obtain reports and data as required.
- NVQ 3 in Business & Administration or evidence of equivalent practical experience
- RSA 3 or equivalent experience and evidence of further practical experience
- Good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above
- Significant experience of a range of secretarial procedures

You would be joining a friendly, innovative and supportive multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to providing a high-quality service to innovate, transform, improve the best possible outcomes for the people that the Trust services. The role entails building excellent relationships and providing co-ordinated, responsive and flexible administrative support. Also vital to the role is the ability to maintain an enthusiastic empathic approach and a desire to make a difference.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for highly skilled workers who are interested in working for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
This role will work closely with the Business Manager supporting the Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer as well as working across the directorate working with the senior leadership team across a number of diverse teams driving innovation forward.
