- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding workforce management and risk mitigation
- Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to CTO Workforce Management team to ensure team success
- As a Workforce Management Leader, you are responsible for leading and supervising a team of workforce management specialists providing guidance, support, for an organization of 9,000+ resources and ~700 managers
- Develop, drive, and manage the multi-year CTO workforce plan and associated headcount activities
- Provide strategies and support structure (programs and processes) and enforce controls to attract necessary current and future skills
- Shift to a strategic placement model for co-locating CTO talent to meet future demands related to its product operating model and agile transformation
- Drive workforce optimization, operational efficiency, and strategic staffing decisions through collection, analysis, and improvement in the interconnectedness of data
- 6+ years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of Management experience
- 5+ years of workforce management experience in workforce scheduling, workforce forecasting, and process improvement within a fast-paced technology environment
- Significant experience in operational risk management, strategic development, or related areas
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability and willingness to negotiate internally and externally
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategies aligned with business objectives by influencing and engaging across multiple cross functional teams
- Highly collaborative (with stakeholders at all levels) with strong influencing skills, creative, resourceful, self-driven and results oriented
- Transformation experience within large matrixed organizations and understanding of different approaches towards organizational design with knowledge of how to simplify the organization
- Must have strong executive presentation and relationship building skills. Ability to present a message clearly and succinctly to business leaders, product leaders and very large and executive audiences
- Understanding of financial and budgeting practices and how an enterprise would operate in a product centric manner

About this role:
The Chief Technology Office (CTO) Workforce Management Team Lead plays a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the organization’s workforce. You will lead the team that develops and implements strategies to optimize staffing levels, forecasting future work needs, identifies, and hires top talent, and houses the sub-LoB business services liaisons. The team will monitor performance metrics, enforce related policies, and collaborate with various partners to address workforce requirements. Additionally, they will oversee implementation workforce management technologies, monitor contingent labor rates, and provide regular reporting to executive leadership on workforce performance and trends. Expectations for this position include serving as a key liaison to senior leadership from Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting, OHoT, CTO Leadership, and other Technology lines of business, and making key decisions on behalf of the organization. This position will report directly to the CTO Workforce Management Director.
An ideal candidate will possess a strong background in workforce management, Budgeting/Financial Management, data interpretation and decision making, and Executive presentation, along with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
