What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate a combination of CRT/keyboard/VCS to simulate pilot and ATC actions during training exercises
- Receive voice commands from students and input proper entries into the system
- Translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology
- Respond to students via VCS using proper phraseology
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting diagrams and manuals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a comparable position
- Minimum keyboard speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood
- US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Certification in Terminal radar lab
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of the FAAO JO 7110.65
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
