The Culinary Intern is responsible for working as part of a team and focuses on working in the various kitchens of the hotel. Culinary Interns are accountable for delivering the same quality of product every time.
Candidates must have completed a professional culinary program, or be currently enrolled in a culinary program, which includes banquet cooking. Candidates must also demonstrate good communication skills, good knife skills, product knowledge and identification, and basic knowledge of cooking methods, such as baking, braising, steaming, broiling, frying, poaching.
This position involves standing on feet for long periods of time and requires the ability to lift, push and carry moderate amounts of weight.
Candidates must have fairly open availability, including weekends and holidays.
$18.81 per hour.
