      As Curriculum Project Manager, you will be an integral member of the MD Program team leading the planning, implementing and flawless execution of a variety of complex projects related to student placements, electives, selectives, experiential learning, and community based service learnings. You will play an essential role engaging and communicating with key internal and external partners,managing multiple, time-sensitive priorities and providing recommendations for change and more efficient coordination of operations. Your extensive project management experience along with your ability to exercise solid critical thinking, analytical, collaborative and problem solving skills will be key to your success in this role.

      Your responsibilities will include:

      • Developing overall project design, including developing charter, scope, resources and schedule for project(s)
      • Planning and implementing project phases as well as communications plans to keep stakeholders informed
      • Producing and analyzing complex statistical information and designing surveys and/or other research tools for program evaluation
      • Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance
      • Reviewing and assessing requirements needed to meet project timelines
      • Analyzing processes and recommending changes formore efficient coordination of operations
      • Gathering information to inform budget planning processes
      • Directing the activities of a group of staff-appointed employees

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Master's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience
      • Minimum five (5) years of related, progressively responsible project management experience in a University, medical school, teaching hospital or comparable environment
      • Demonstrated experience with all aspects of process development and execution related to projects in an academic, healthcare or a comparable environment.
      • Demonstrated experience coordinating professional academic programs and/or healthcare-related program(s)
      • Demonstrated experience producing complex statistical information, compiling and analyzing data, and writing reports.
      • Experience designing and/or developing program evaluation tools (i.e. surveys, interviews) for an academic program, healthcare setting, or comparable environment
      • Experience and work in experiential learning education
      • Experience gathering information for academic and/or curriculum project proposals, including in preparation for budgetplanning
      • Experience supervising staff.
      • In-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, techniques, tools and best practices
      • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, learning management systems and student information systems, with the flexibility, adaptability and desire to seek out, learn and embrace new and emerging technology
      • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver on time-sensitive initiatives
      • Demonstrated initiative in seeing projects through to completion
      • Proven leadership, collaboration and motivational skills, including the ability to influence others towards a common goal
      • High degree of diplomacy and tact; professional demeanor
      • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and online survey tools
      • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines using analytical and problem-solving capabilities


      Assets (Nonessential):

      • Experience with MedSIS
      • Formal project management training, PMI/PMP

      Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
      USW Pay Band 15 -- $93,752 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $119,892. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
