      Job Description

      Summary of Duties:

      Lead assigned personnel and perform custodial duties. Regularly assign, instruct, and check the work of others.

      This recruitment may be used to fill multiple vacancies.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Physical ability to do required work and one year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work OR one year experience as a Lead; OR equivalent education/experience.

      • Possession of, or ability to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Six (6) months or more in depth knowledge of custodial procedures as performed in Facilities Operations.

      Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
