Job Description
- Req#: 146467
- Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock items such as paper towels and toilet paper as needed.
- Wipe mirrors and windows
- Report damage and issues to leadership staff so they are addressed as quickly as possible.
- Work as part of a team that serves high quality programming to Girl Scouts year round
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, summer staff, and parents
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for an extended amount of time and traverse uneven terrain
- Must be able to complete & clear a Criminal, and Sex Offender background check
- Prefer to be 21 years or older and have a clean driving record to use equipment

JOB SUMMARY
Support the health and sustainability of all people and property at camp. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, sanitizing, and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism and long-term damage to the facilities.
