      JOB SUMMARY

      A successful campus Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and presentation of the campus facilities. The successful candidate will effectively maintain the facility, will help to create a positive environment, and will have a strong customer service focus, both for students and staff.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

      • Manage and maintain all Custodial needs
      • Cleaning
      • Restocking of supplies
      • Manage supply use and identify the need for, and submit orders as required
      • Take on or assist with projects as needed at the direction of the Executive Director
      • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form
      • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
      • Perform preventative maintenance
      • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      • Working knowledge of the Custodial trade
      • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of the job, including heavy lifting

      PREFERRED:

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • 5 years of varied custodial/maintenance experience
