      Location: This is a remote role based out of New Jersey.

      Mission: You will be setting the growth agenda and leading a team to deliver actionable business analysis, to propel the Clif business through best-in-class use of shopper insights and category management principles.

      In partnership with the Customer and Sales Teams, you will play a pivotal role in identifying multi-year shopper-based opportunities to realize superior growth and build customer value.

      This position is also part of the Clif’s Cross-Functional Leadership Team.

      You will show your leadership by setting the vision and strategy for shopper insights. You will champion and role model the integration of shopper insights deeper into our Growth framework and you will help build organizational capability within this field. Together with the sales leadership team you will lead the development of an actionable customer strategy utilizing shopper insights to drive growth that builds shareholder value.

      How you will contribute

      • Shape and drive category and shopper strategy, while growing Clif business category share.

      • Produce deep analysis that expands our understanding of the Clif business, its sub-brands, and its potential with retailers

      • Provide Omni Channel support: audit digital shelf and co-create omni strategies for customer.

      • Deliver excellence in execution: create picture of success for displays, assortment, and shelf (POGs)

      • Provide shelving strategy (beyond most-common planogram) and drive share of shelf: adjacencies, days of supply, pack-out (JDA experience highly desirable)

      • Customer specific assortment recommendations (must stock list, sku rationalizations, flow back analysis, etc), POS trends (versed on Nielsen and/or IRI), and shape and drive pricing (e.g. elasticities, cliff/ thresholds, etc) and promo analysis and strategies

      • Pursue captaincies and drive the end-to-end (strategic and tactical) conversations with the customer.

      • Create and curate reporting for the Customer and Sales Team

      • Create thought leadership that inspires shopper-focused growth and enables Mondelēz to be the preferred partner in Bars.

      What you will bring

      • Strong quantitative & analytical skills (able to create data-based selling stories and develop share forecast)

      • Ability to work within multiple POS and Consumer PNL Databases

      • Persuasive: Ability to craft a compelling story and gain internal and external alignment

      • Proficient with syndicated data, Excel, Power BI, Data Visualization

      • Solid understanding of the Retail marketplace

      • Effective collaborator who can create strong relationships with cross functional partners and retailers.

      More about this role

      Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.

      Job specific requirements:

      • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer products industry

      • Minimum of 3 years people management experience.

      • Technical experience with advanced software skills relevant to Shopper Research and Category Management functions - this includes syndicated data systems (Nielsen, IRI, Spectra, panel data, retailer data systems), shelf management software (JDA, Apollo, SpaceMan), and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI). Data visualization experience is a plus.
