      Job summary

      We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Customer Care Assistant to join our dynamic and forward thinking Nantwich Care Community Teams at the reception desk at Church View Primary Care Centre.

      Main duties of the job

      As part of Integrated Care Community we are proud of the transformation work we have already achieved in order to establish the "Right Professional, Right Place, Right Time" approach.

      The successful candidate will provide administration and clerical service to the Care Community.

      A key requirement of the post is to welcome and receive patients/relatives/carers and other visitors into the workplace, and maintain the preparation and flow of patient data/information.

      You will need to ensure that all data/information is maintained to the agreed quality standard and available at the right time and place.

      You will also be expected to organise your own workload in order to maintain an efficient and professional service

      Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of local hospital and community services for people across East Cheshire (population 399K) and West Cheshire and Chester boroughs (population 357K).

      1. JOB PURPOSETo provide a comprehensive administration and clerical service to the Care Community.
      2. Provide an efficient reception service, greeting patients, public and all visitors as they arrive, dealing with enquiries promptly, taking action as necessary and directing patients/relatives/carers accordingly.2. Provide administrative support to the Care Community as requested, according to the requirements of the service, where appropriate.3. Maintain systems and process to ensure that patient information/data is recorded accurately according to the agreed quality standard.4. Be able to use the required electronic systems for correspondence, clinic management.5. Maintain constructive relationships with others, within and across Care Community Team and wider divisions and externally in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of services to patients.6. On occasion may be required to support Care Community Hubs to respond to demand in calls to the service with support from other Care Community admin and wider Clinical staff within appropriate procedures and guidelines.

      • 5 GCSE's grade C or equivalent. Must include English.
      • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power point.
      • ECDL or equivalent

      • Level 3 Business Admin or Team Leading Qualification
