Job Description
- Req#: 574
- Schedule survey appointments by managing inbound/outbound calls and electronic leads, overcoming objections when necessary to secure appointments
- Engage with potential customers, gather move details, and explain service options with clarity and care
- Provide basic moving quotes and handle stand-alone auto move requests
- Introduce value-added services and assess customer interest
- Route inquiries outside the scope of the lead center to the appropriate internal teams
- Support the virtual sales team with cubing and estimating
- Maintain accurate records and meet individual/team performance targets
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience
- A high-energy, customer-first mindset with a desire to solve problems
- Excellent listening and engagement skills — you're curious and ask the right questions
- Comfort working independently and a willingness to grow into new responsibilities
- An interest in building sales and service skills in a collaborative environment

**This position is classified as hybrid with the expectation to come in office for special events or meetings (approximately once a month or less).**Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST
Location: Hybrid/Primarily remote, with occasional on-site participation for special events in Fenton, MOBe a part of something bigger at UniGroup

What you’ll do:
As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers who are planning one of life’s biggest transitions: a move. Through inbound and outbound calls, you’ll schedule survey appointments, share key information, and help customers explore the right services for their needs. You’ll blend empathy, communication skills, and efficiency to provide a standout experience that sets the tone for everything that follows.
