- Google Chromebook setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Cable management for Google Chromebook carts
- Windows workstation quality assurance check, management, and inventory.
- Management of cabling infrastructure and relocation/unboxing of hardware.
- Technical documentation
- Basic network troubleshooting: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WiFi.
- Service oriented attitude is mandatory – “will do what it takes to get the job done right.”
- Must be comfortable in a client facing environment and eager to engage in new client relationships.
- Must possess the ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a team.
- Enthusiasm in working and collaborating in a fast-paced and ever evolving environment.
- A spirit of perpetual learning and independent self-starter.
- Dress code – smart casual
- Up to 12 weeks
- End of May – End of August
- Business hours schedule
- Up to 40 Hours a week, dependent on work load
- Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or recently graduated within one calendar year of the program deadline.
- Students required to be enrolled or have received a degree in a related major in the department of interest and possess some former work or internship experience
- Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Students are to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire

DESCRIPTION:
The Customer Engineer Intern for the Ricoh Education team will work onsite full-time at our K-12 school’s client locations. This individual is responsible for working closely with clients and cross functional support teams to manage and maintain the technology used by these customers. This this a full-time summer position lasting up to 12 weeks during the summer months and will involve using both technology and business skills in support of our client’s environment. The position requires technical workstation knowledge, and basic management of both Microsoft Windows, Apple OSX, and/or Google Chrome operating systems, basic network administration and troubleshooting skills. Interns will possess attention to detail, business intuition, excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to professionally conduct oneself to all levels of the corporate structure.
**This position will require travel within your region therefore, adequate transportation is a requirement utilizing public transportation and/or personal vehicle where applicable. Travel costs will not be reimbursed **
**Interns will be provided with a Ricoh laptop during the internship to access Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and the internet. **
