Proximus, a leader in the field, is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Customer Field Operations Manager. The Access Connectivity department, a customer-facing operating division, is responsible for connecting customers to our fibre and copper network. With over 1,300 FTEs, both in-house and external, and operational expenses totalling around 70M euro, we are at the forefront of shaping the future of telecommunications.

      As a Customer Field Operations Manage r at Proximus, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our division. Your strategic thinking and leadership skills will be key in guiding our organization towards growth, sustainability, and operational excellence.

      Responsibilities:

      Strategic Leadership:

      • Develop and implement a comprehensive divisional strategy and roadmap, focusing on evolving field operations. Your vision will position us for growth and sustainability.
      • Drive the development and expansion of our fibre network.

      Operational Excellence:

      • Craft and execute sourcing and partner strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Optimize the operations environment to ensure seamless customer connections and activations.

      Financial Management:

      • Lead and manage the entire customer connection capital expenditures (capex) for Proximus in close collaboration with the Finance Business Partner.
      • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with growth goals.

      People Management:

      • Lead and manage a team of operational experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.

      Divisional Leadership Backup:

      • Serve as the backup for the divisional lead, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth divisional operations.

      Your Profile

      Required Skills and Qualifications

      • Master's degree in Business Engineering, Industrial/Civil Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
      • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
      • Strong affinity with operational and strategic environments.
      • Thrives in challenging and complex environments.
      • Experience translating strategic input into operational roadmaps.
      • Proficient in defining strategies and conceptual thinking.
      • Bilingual (FR/NL) with a good knowledge of English.
