      EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

      We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Water Network Operations and Leakage department as a Customer Inspector! While in this role, your main responsibility will be to ensure our customers receive a constant supply of high-quality drinking water by taking ownership of customer issues from inspection to resolution.

      Your day to day will include collaborating with the customer hub to keep customers informed through the resolution process, escalating complex issues and ensuring you deliver exceptional service to all customers consistently.

      WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

      This role will require travel, so it is essential that all applicants must have a Full UK Driving License

      Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

      • Conduct inspections for customer issues such as leaks, stop taps, water wastage, and supply isolations, resolving issues at the point of contact when possible.
      • Promote and ensure high standards of remedial activity for first-time resolution.
      • Take personal ownership of customer issues, contributing to the improvement of the customer journey and ensuring promises are kept.
      • Manage and resolve customer complaints, including visiting customers when necessary.
      • Efficiently manage time to complete unappointed customer activities between scheduled appointments.
      • Identify and proactively manage issues for vulnerable customers or those needing additional support.
      • Adhere to company policies and standards, including data protection and traffic management.
      • Serve as a point of contact for customers throughout their journey.
      • Coordinate with property owners/installers to ensure timely completion of remedial work following inspections.
      • Promote and improve safe systems of work, reviewing and suggesting improvements to working practices, methods, standards, and procedures.
