What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls from Providers, Members, and Health Plans, providing assistance on various topics
- Record and manage caller information using proprietary systems
- Communicate professionally and courteously at all times
- Meet or exceed established key performance indicators for the Customer Service Representative position
- Participate in weekly staff meetings to foster teamwork and address departmental issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in an inbound call center
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems during interactions
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
- Familiarity with healthcare benefits and problem resolution
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
