What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide accurate and courteous responses to member and provider inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, claims status, and other related issues
- Document inquiries and complaints in a clear and timely manner
- Support CHPW members during the Medicare Annual Election Period
- Communicate with providers regarding claim processing and outcomes
- Meet attendance and call quality standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three (3) years of call center experience, preferably in insurance or managed care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare
- Comfortable working in a 100% remote environment
- Ability to gather and assess information, apply protocols, and determine appropriate actions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with state and federal programs such as Washington Apple Health and Medicare Advantage Plans
- Familiarity with MS Office products like Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of claims processing and medical terminology
